CONTRACT DESCRIPTION

Are you an excellent full stack developer?

Technical Skills and Experience you will need to have:

• Significant and extensive experience of Java, JavaScript (TypeScript), JMS, Junit with Mockito/Wiremock and JPA/Hibernate.
• Significant and extensive experience of building applications in JavaEE, Angular (TypeScript), JBoss/Wildfly and JSF.
• Significant experience of working with PostgreSQL.
• Some exposure to CQRS and Event Sourcing.
• Working in a Continuous Integration environment is a requirement, experience of Continuous Delivery or Deployment is even better, using modern version control (Git).
• Experience of building and testing modern software applications
• Experience of applying common design principles and patterns
• Experience of working in a collaborative team environment
• Experience of troubleshooting issues within development and test environments
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to express issues to other technical and non-technical people.

It will be Advantageous if you have:

• Developed applications utilising CQRS and Event Sourcing.
• Worked on a project assessed by the Government Digital Service (GDS).
• Worked collaboratively and effectively in DevOps environments.
• Exposure to multiple programming languages and data storage technologies (e.g. SQL/NOSQL).

Other Skills you should have:

• Experience of working in an agile way including running Three Amigos/Power of Three/Story Kick-offs and all of the usual agile ceremonies.
